The case requires a bit of an effort to insert the phone, but once on, it fits snugly and looks great.Probably an overabundance of caution on my part, but given the price of the phone, I used the following technique to avoid flexing the screen.- Unbox the case and place on a stable and firm surface, like a tabletop- Wipe phone with a clean, lint-free cloth- Insert the phone into the case along the long left edge (volume controls)- Push down firmly and evenly along the opposite edge (power button). I used the edge of my palm, while holding the case in place with the other hand. Your phone should slip down nicely into the case.Pros- Good packaging and unboxing experience (for a phone case) ;)- Fits snugly, with no wiggle or concern about the phone popping out- All cutouts perfectly aligned- Smooth, angled transition along the cutout guides your finger to the fingerprint sensor on the back- Carbon fiber and aluminum frame looks classy, while still allowing a bit of the phone color to show through (around the cutouts for camera and flash)- Case does not interfere with the use of the screen edge functions- Slightly raised lip along the top and bottom edges hold the glass away from any flat surface when placed face down- Does not add significantly to the dimensions of the phone- Button action is precise and responsive- I haven't installed a screen protector as yet, but does not look like the case will interfere at all.Cons- The carbon fiber texture, while very visually distinctive, is smoother than expected. Phone still slides easily on flat surfaces. (not really a negative...more of an FYI.)- Edges are quite smooth. This case won't help much with grip on the phone. (again, not necessarily a negative, but if you're looking for something more "grippy", you might want to keep looking.)
