They work great. One downside that I've noticed after going through several of these and seeing others go through them is the very obvious weak point on these. I've even tried using steel infused resin epoxy to strengthen the weak points on the 1 remaining holder in the fleet. It lasted about 3 to 4 months longer than the rest before even that gave out and broke exactly where all the others have. I don't think there's a way for them to get around this obvious weak point due to design to accept smaller tablets. It's the inside edges of the longer arms that supports the bottom of the tablet. After so many bumps and potholes the weight of the tablet in the holder just snaps the arm or both arms off at once which results in the iPad falling straight to the floor of the truck. In the pictures I have posted is just a small fraction of the exact same part of the holder breaking in exactly the same place through several different trucks that run different routes. You can also see that I didn't exactly go light with the epoxy resin either and it still broke exactly where its weak point is. It's just a failure point by design to accept smaller tablets.Aside from that, if you're not in an area with lot of bumps in the road or potholes everywhere, I'm sure they would hold up great over the long term. The plastic is really solid everywhere else.I would still recommend this product in spite of the 1 flaw it has.
