Build quality is pretty good. Are they the absolute best on the market? Probably not, but for $150 on sale I'm not going to complain. I dropped one of these in the sink and let them sit in rice for 24 hours and it still works like brand new. This happened when one of them fell out of my ear because I find it hard to find the right combination of silicone inner ear pieces for it to sit correctly in my ear.The Ambient sound feature is awesome too. You can listen to your music while talking to those around you. Even when you're not listening to music, the Ambient sound can boost surrounding audio around you if you have a hard time hear people... Wouldn't recommend them as a medical replacement for a hearing aid as this isn't the product's intended use, but I can see them helping those who have hearing problems.One of the buds has a heart symbol and the other one had another symbol associated with a KPop band, but if you like shiny metallic purple objects, who cares? No one is looking at the symbols when they're in your ears lol. Really cool aesthetic design. I've spoken to multiple people on phone calls and none of them complained about the sound quality coming from the Mic.
